I am currently eating a carrot stick as I write this and it's making me extremely sad... I think I'll have to trade in the carrot for the Ben and Jerry's in my freezer (not that it could compare to these either). Anywayyyy, the place that has me so worked up is Black Tap Craft Burgers and Beer. But I didn't have a burger or any beer... it was the milkshakes that took me there. This little gem in SoHo created the most spectacular cookies & cream milkshake (ordering any other flavor would be a crime) I have ever had... and we've taken down our fair share of milkshakes. Look at them... why can't they be on UberEats.
The beautiful sight above includes the Cookie 'N Cream Supreme Oreo Shake (left and right... and also my favorite) and the Brooklyn Blackout Chocolate Shake (middle). I think it goes without saying, but the Cookie 'N Cream Supreme is cookies and cream ice cream, vanilla frosting and crushed Oreos around the rim, topped with an entire cookies 'n cream sandwich, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce.
The Brooklyn Blackout is chocolate ice cream, a chocolate icing rim with chocolate chips, an insane chocolate brownie on top, plus the whipped cream and chocolate sauce.
If you're not craving ice cream yet, the last shake we ordered (yes we got three) will definitely make you hungry. It also has you written all over it with Fruity Pebbles involved.
The Bam Bam Fruity Pebbles Shake was colorful, sugary, and a nice twist after all the chocolate. It had a vanilla rim with Fruity Pebbles cereal, and on top was a Fruity Pebbles Rice Krispy Treat, a Strawberry Pop Tart, Laffy Taffy, whipped cream, and a cherry of course.
These shakes are called Crazy Shakes for a reason and sadly they left us too full to try the burgers, but I guess it's just an excuse to go back.
