Workout of the Month - March

Hey everyone, it's Kristen here! Spring is finally in the air and I've been enjoying every second I can outside. Including working out!

Since it is getting warmer, the workout for this month has an outdoor option. 

Start with the warm up, which is 6 moves done 10 - 20 times each, repeated 3 times. Once you are done the warm up round treat yourself to a 30 minute walk or run (or a walk/run lol). We suggest doing the cardio portion outside, but that's completely up to you! After you finish your walk/run, there is one last circuit. This circuit is 5 moves done 20 times each, the entire circuit is repeated 3 times. 

Add this workout to your normal routine or do it on its own. Make sure to get in a good stretch at the end!

HERE'S THE WORKOUT:

Warm-up

  • High knees x 20
  • Butt kicks x 20
  • Jumping jacks x 20
  • Walking lunges x 20
  • Push-ups x 10
  • Jump squats x 20

REPEAT 3 TIMES

Cardio - 30 minute walk or run (or your preferred type of cardio)

Last Circuit

  • Dead bugs x 20
  • Straight leg crunches x 20
  • Side crunches x 20
  • V-sits x 20
  • Planks x 30 seconds

REPEAT 3 TIMES
